The nearest beaches to Tamarind are about 10 minutes drive. From the house you can go to Can En Bas beach on the Atlantic side - a wide open beach which is great for kitesurfing or to Smugglers Cove on the Caribbean side, which is a beautiful but small bay. Smugglers is the hotel beach for Cap Mason hotel and has a great bar/beach restaurant. If you would like to do water sports then Reduit beach in Rodney Bay is about a 20 minute drive.
In Saint Lucia the power plug sockets are of type G. The standard voltage is 240 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. Please note that the ladies will prepare and tidy away breakfast and lunch but dinner will be pre-prepared and you will need to warm up and serve. Francis, the gardener/groundsman, is a brilliant barbecuer and will happily barbecue for you. If you would like a proper chef service, this can be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact us.
