Tell
me about St. Lucia
The most
beautiful island in the West Indies, St. Lucia is well known for the
dramatic views of the twin Pitons rising to 2000 feet above the
Caribbean in Soufriere.
You
can swim from beautiful golden sandy beaches and explore dramatic
tropical rain forests in the same day.
Equally
dependent on tourism and agriculture (mostly bananas) the island is
politically stable; its strong French heritage means that restaurants
are of a high standard and there is lots of interesting French and
British colonial history.
